3 Important Things You Should Know About Your Prayer (Salat)

Most people don’t know about the following three things as regards their salaat:

1. It is Compulsory to say ”Bismillah In Wudu”

Some people use to think that saying Bismillah (In the Name of Allah) was just Sunnah, or something that was recommended, yet voluntary.
This is something we need to take seriously.
After, all if you don’t have wudu, then you can’t make Salaah.

2. Dua After Salaatul Ibrahim

There is a very special and very powerful dua that we should be saying in the last rakaat (unit) of prayers after Salaatul Ibrahim.
This dua seeks Allah’s protection from five things:
i.The punishment of Hell.
ii.The punishment of the Grave.
iii.The trials of life.
iv.The trials of death.
v.The evil of the trials of the Dajjal (Anti-Christ).
I don’t know about you, but that sounds pretty powerful to me.
Yet, many of us don’t know that it is highly recommended to say this dua. And there is even a hadith where Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) advised his companions to say it as well.

3. Praying in Your Car

Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.
And fortunately, Allah has made it easy for us to do what we gotta do.
Perhaps you didn’t know this, but there are times where it is acceptable to pray in your car.
Allah mentions in His Book that we are allowed to pray riding if we’re traveling and we fear praying in the normal fashion.
If you find yourself in a situation where praying normally just won’t do, and prayer is about to go out, then it may be best for you to pray in your car.

Or the airplane.

Or the bus.

Or wherever you may happen to be.
