Ten (10) Unique Ways on preparing for Eid Day

Postby admin » Sat Sep 19, 2015 7:38 pm

Here are my top ten (10) tips on preparing for Eid Day
1 . Make a Ghusl (bath) and dress in clean clothes.
2. Put on a better islamic wear but don't put on unislamic wears.
3. Go to the eid praying ground as early as possiblr in the morning pray with other Muslims. Listen to the Khutbah (Eid speech).
4. Go out one by one route and come back by another for Eid prayers. Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah (may God be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) used to vary his routes on the day of Eid.(Bukhaari)
5. Give foods to the poor and the needy.
6. You can exchange gifts with your friends but DON'T exchange meat!
7. Don't spend extravagantly and show-off as it's prohibited in Islam.
8. Don't forget to pray Salaah at the proper times.
9. Don't indulge in any unislamic activity like music, drinking, attending mixed-gender gatherings etc
10. Women should avoid adornment and perfume when they go out for Eid, because they are prohibited from showing their adornment in front of non-mahram men.
