Guard Your Tongue From Idle Talk!

daughterThe mode of Communication has gotten easier and Advanced but our Quality of Communication has gone down hill and keeps getting Worse.

…If we were to look back at our conversations and were to give it a grade, we would surely get a Failing one because all that we talk about is based on Backbiting, Slandering, Cursing, Swearing, Enveying, Hating, Complaining and on and on. Is that what we do best? We should talk with reason, with purpose, with the rememberance of Allah. We have been constantly warned against 2 organs in the body and one of them is the tongue. And we are failing miserably at its usage.

We need to wake up and find the root cause of this disease before it overtakes us. We can’t put the blame on others since we all have been given the intellect to decide the best company for us. Even being in the presence of such people, with the intention of not engaging in the talk will have a negative effect on us. Yet we still choose and continue to be with the company of those, Who will not only themselves but will also drag us with them to the pits of Hell fire.
