Sister Modinat Lawal-Famuditimi is the founder and Executive Director of Rafeeqee Foundation, Inc., an Islamic driven organization with emphasis on mentoring Muslims to the right path of Islam. Born and raised in Nigeria before relocating to the United States Of America. She completed her Bachelors in Computer Information System. Shes currently residing in the Washington metropolitan area, she’s happily married with four wonderful kids. In the past 17 plus years, she’s been a successful and dedicated IT professional in the Software Development industry.
Rafeeqee was founded with strong desire to give back to the Muslim Umma by providing a platform where Muslims are welcome and mentored by learned Ustadhs with the appropriate aqidah of the Qur’an and the Sunnah Of our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. The main focus was to mentor to the right path of Islam with kind and genuine approach.
Abdullah Bin Mas’ud (RA) narrated: The Prophet (SAW) said,
“A man shall be asked concerning five things on the day of resurrection: concerning his life, how he spent it; concerning his youth, how he grew old; concerning his wealth, whence he acquired it, and in what way he spent it; and what was it that he did with the knowledge that he had.” (At-Tirmidhi)
The organization was started in 2013 as an hobby, Alhamdulillah rabbil alamin, with Allah’s directions and the dedication of the team, the organization became an official Nonprofit in June of 2017.
