An indigene of Offa, Kwara State. I am an academic staff of Kaduna Polytechnic, Department of Quantity Surveying. I’ve always love to be part of an NGO because of my life experiences on sickle cell and at the same time because one of the principal foundations of Islam is service to humanity.
I got to know about Rafeeqee Foundation Inc. through a friend and from helping out in one or two things, I became a member….I am presently coordinating activities in Kaduna.
Quran directed us by saying in Suratul Nisa verse 36 that “Worship Allah; join nothing with Him. Be good to your parents, to relatives, to orphans, to the needy, to neighbors near and far, to travelers in need, and to our slaves.” Bear in mind that service to humanity is service to Allah. A glass of water has no value on its own but the moment it quenches the thirst of an exhausted person, it turns more valuable than gold. Be a glass of water and quench the thirst of others.
